| To demonstrate the durability of the UGT System. The city of Troy Michigan presented the ultimate test.
Tthe manhole installation performed on DPW Yard West of Large Garage North. In October of 2007, UGT elevated the manhole 11.25 inches. This manhole would receive heavy duty traffic from Salt, Contruction and Fire vehicles. This hole was a storm structure with no exterior veil.
On June 27, 2008, UGT inspected the sites by removing the covers and taking photos of the manhole interiors. The attached pages show the some photos of install and the condition of the interior after a winter and spring season. Our findings show that there minor seepage of liquid but no infiltration of sediment from the exterior to the inside walls of the chimney. This is the best practice for storm structures.
