To test the chemical resistance to H2S ( Hydrogen Sulfide ) Gases; the UGT Rings were installed in a sewer treatment plant in Chattanooga TN. The manhole was in line with a main vein entering the sewer treatment plant. The manhole was left for one year and the below pictures show the results of one year intense exposure to H2S. The concrete did not fair as well. | ||
