UGT has a solution for
securing and sealing the grade ring to the cone and the frame as well as structure repair. UGT's Secure-n-Seal
product is easy to apply and is a moisture curing, polyether adhesive/sealant designed for application in damp, dry, or cold climates. SECURE N SEAL is solvent free and contains no isocyanates. SECURE N SEAL will not shrink upon curing, will not discolor when exposed to UV light, and can not “out-gas", or bubble, on damp surfaces as urethane sealants often do. SECURE N SEAL has resilient "elastomeric properties and excellent adhesion to most construction materials. SECURE N SEAL is capable of joint movement in excess of 25% in both compression and extension. SECURE N SEAL can be used effectively in many difficult construction site conditions and it cures in wet or dry climate conditions and at low temperatures (30° F).
Installers use Secure n Seal to adhere the base grade ring to the structure as well as the finish ring to the frame. Installers can also use Secure n Seal for restoration of the structure by either filling cracks and holes or using it to adhere cardboard to the structure to make repair forms for applying Crack n Seal or Grout n Patch.
Secure n Seal eliminates post settling phenomena that takes place using butyl rope. UGT's Secure n Seal is a better alternative to butyl's or mastic adhesives
